Annabelle Bishop (Just An American Artist)

Hello! I’m a graphic designer and illustrator from Rock Island, IL. I’m in the final stretch of earning my B.F.A. in Graphic Design at Iowa State University and recently started my journey as a professional artist. As a Quad City native, I want to do my part to revitalize our community using my artistic skills. My primary focus is my illustrations, especially of animals and fantasy creatures. The main traditional media I use are acrylic, gouache, and watercolor paints; graphite; charcoal; inks; and colored pencils. On the digital side of things, I use the Adobe Creative Cloud to create book formats, advertisements, logos, flags, image composites, retouched images, etc. My main skill set lies in Adobe Photoshop, which I use to edit, combine, and retouch photos; Illustrator, which I mainly use to design logos and handmade type; InDesign, which I use to set up and create formats for a wide variety of projects; and Fresco, the program I use for my digital illustration.

Annabelle is based out of Rock Island County.
