Carolyn Krueger

Rock Island artist, Carolyn Krueger, works primarily with clay. Her colorful work is hand-built and wheel-thrown. She also dabbles in knitting, paper art, photography, painting and collage. You can currently find her work at The ARTery, the Rock Island Artists’ Market, and Excelsior Gallery. Carolyn served on the Arts Commission for the City of Rock Island from 2007-2023, is a member of the RI Arts Guild, a governor on the Rock Island Community Foundation, and is an advocate for all things art in our community. She has also been teaching art and pottery for twenty years and currently offers private pottery lessons and classes to students of all ages at The ARTery. As owner of The ARTery and Gallery Director for MidCoast Fine Arts for many years, Carolyn still happily serves her art community by encouraging emerging artists, creative partnerships, and communication.
