Subject Matter:
My sons frequently appear in my work, as my favorite subject matter for my paintings. I continue to sculpt, draw and paint in my free time, my most frequently used medium is acrylic paint and clay. I love experimenting with new techniques and finding ways to incorporate texture into my work. I have the best job in the world, teaching high school artists how to draw, paint and sculpt. I love teaching others to discover their own artistic abilities. In 2016, I began a new adventure as a book illustrator with my first book, "Ornery Henry" written by Molly Giese. My artwork has always been very narrative, influenced by the people and interactions in my life. Book illustration has become a natural fit and my newest passion. I am currently illustrating two more books for Molly.
Cassie is based out of Clinton County.
