Emma Burnett is an artist from Norwalk, Iowa. She graduated from Cornell College with a BA in Studio Art and Applied Psychology in 2023. Currently, she is a Resident Artist at the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her artwork is inspired by nature and animals, and is made with the goal of creating whimsy and joy through her work. As an individual who has struggled with anxiety and depression, she hopes that her work can put a smile onto people's faces. She hopes that her sculptures, when displayed inside people's homes, will offer a brief moment of respite from the stresses of the world.
Emma is based out of Linn County.
