Laila Haley

Hi, I’m Laila! I’m a children’s book illustrator, graphic designer, and spring 2024 graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University! My work is nurtured by a deep nostalgia I have for the imagination of childhood and the stories I grew up loving! I illustrate to create stories for the children of today, using the magic I encountered in my own childhood! The magic of princesses, pirates, fairies and forests! I’ve been illustrating since 2015 when I started @lovelcee on Instagram as a way to share my imaginings, create for others, and connect with the wider artist community. Since then, I’ve developed a style and voice that complements the timeless experience of story time between grownup and child! Let’s connect and start creating stories together!
