Lisa Mahar

Lisa Mahar is a self-taught artist, who has been honing her craft for over 25 years in the Midwest . Her art has traveled from coast to coast. She paints on vintage furniture, creates one of a kind assemblages and also paints on canvases. Lisa’s art is full of symbolism, nature, empowerment of women and a variety of other themes. She uses acrylic paints and found objects on almost all her works of art. Lisa loves to recycle and reuse other people’s cast offs to beautify her pieces of art. Giving life to old things. She uses the element of surprise and also humor in much of her art. Creating art and living her best life, Lisa hopes her art brings joy to those who see it.
