My name is Matt Jagitsch and I am an 53 year old artist out of Sterling IL. My medium is known as reverse drawing, or white pencil on black paper. While the subject matter I work with varies, it is predominantly portraiture, both human and wildlife. After college I got away from art only to be reunited with it during Covid shutdowns. For the last 3 years, I’ve worked exclusively with this medium and have shown throughout central and northern Illinois.
Matt is based out of Lee County.
