Patricia is a native Iowan. As a child she was taught by her grandmother, Keithe Van Deusen an art teacher, the art of chalk talk and introduced her to the paintbrush. Patricia resumed her love of painting in 1985, after years of dedication as a wife and mother. Since then, she has received numerous awards for her art. Her most recent award in 2023, was winning the "BEST PAINTING" award with New York NIL International Exhibition. In 2009 she was selected by Lieutenant Governor Patty Judge as the recipient of the Outstanding Female Artist of the year Award and was featured at the Capitol Building for a three-month exhibit. Her interest in portraits, florals, and landscapes, developed after stodying under nationally known artists: Dan Gerhartz, Loren Entz, James Pollard and others.
Patricia is based out of Linn County.
