Roy Cacek

Roy, an MFA graduate from Drake University, creates mosaic-based paintings exploring perception, memory, and time. Influenced by ancient mosaics and Chuck Close, his work bridges abstraction and clarity, inviting viewers to decode images built from hand-painted, single-color squares.

Roy is based out of Polk County.
