Tiara Byrd

I am a self - taught artist Currently residing in Chicago, IL. I am a passionate and hardworking Artist who has a track record for creating original pieces of textural abstract artwork, through a variety of different mediums. I can work with a wide variety of materials such as sand, glass, and eggshell. My passion for art came from me not being able to purchase original artwork because the artwork that piqued my interest was very expensive. So I decided to create my own textural abstract artwork. And I wanted my textural abstract artwork to be accessible to all socioeconomic groups with various backgrounds. I have been in art exhibitions from the Black Girl Art show to the Rostrum 312 art show. I also sell my original abstract art pieces at The Martin market place and I am a member of the Oak Park Art League.
