Peter MUTSCHLER

I am a photographer based in Winona, Minnesota. My photos are a work in progress, and I learn new things about my craft every day. I am enjoying the journey. I got serious about photography while studying journalism in college. I received a BS degree in Natural Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I then took a 35-year detour to work as an environment and safety professional. I have since retired from that career and achieved my certification as a professional photographer. I now spend a little time each day creating images. One of the more interesting projects that I am currently working on is a collection of images documenting rinking establishments across Wisconsin. This collection will be hanging in a new cocktail bar in Baraboo. I create images that are technically excellent and unique. I am currently working on blurring the lines between photography and painting. I also love collaborating with other artists, particularly poets. The PJMImage.Com website displays my collections. My current focus is capturing relationships within a community. I get great satisfaction out of taking an image from its original vision in my mind to a physical form that I can share with you in person.
